Venue: Crescent Head Golf Course & The Med

Jaz + Jase wanted a destination wedding weekend and Crescent Head was a special place for both of them. Jase fell in love with Crescent Head when he stumbled across it on his kombi trip from Melbourne to Queensland and Jaz had taught here for a few years.

It all started at the beginning

Jaz & Jase approached us at the very beginning of their wedding planning journey. They were trying to find a suitable venue for their 150+ guests and they wanted to capture the spectacular coastal views that Crescent Head has to offer.

For the ceremony they had already decided on a cliff top ocean view on the Crescent Head Golf Course. It is just such a magic spot standing above the ocean and looking out towards the horizon. They wanted their reception to be FUN! The list was simple: dancing, awesome vibes and great food. Our recommendation was The Med. It was newly refurbished and the the idea of having a party under the stars in the courtyard sounded excitingly perfect!

Pray for the weather

The week leading up to the wedding had been really wet, we were praying for good weather and hoping to not use our wet weather alternative. The day arrived and the sun was shining so bright!!! What a blessing! The ceremony was really a special moment for the couple. They felt it was the most perfect day! Following the ceremony Jaz & Jase had some beautiful photos taken by Heath from Jac + Heath on Big Nobby Headland and under the pandanus trees at the point.

One of Jaz & Jase's highlights was the Kombi driver who they found at the pub the night before. He ended up supplying their transport for the day and he joined in on all the festivities!!

Time to party!!!

After the formalities the party really got started over at The Med Crescent Head. Jaz & Jase had organised a secret surprise.... They had the 7 piece brass band Hot Potato rock up straight after all the speeches. They was so amazing that everyone got up on their feet dancing. They both ended up on shoulders by the end of the night and Jaz never wanted it to end!! Later we found out that the Band was so good that people were dancing in the houses nearby!!
